
Who may come?
Deaf and hard of hearing, age 9 through high school. Hearing who understand and use sign language are welcomed. (Activities are conducted simultaneously in signs and speech).

What should you bring?
Bible, sleeping bag or bed linens and blanket for a twin-sized bed, pillow, towels, washclothes, toiletries, swimsuit, sweater or jacket, flashlight, softball gloves, plastic bags to store dirty and soiled clothes and great attitude.
What is the canteen?
Soft drinks, candies, chips, and other things are provided during camp during canteen time. The cost of canteen items is included in the camp fee so no money is needed to purchase canteen items.

Is there a camp bank?
Yes, a bank will be provided in which you may deposit spending money and valuables at registration until you need them.
Beginning and Ending
Camp opens at 3:00pm on Sunday, July 25th. Do NOT come before that time. Every person should arrive at camp before 5:00pm, Sunday. Supper will be served at camp. Camp ends at 10:00am on Friday, July 30st.

This full paid fee covers all 14 meals, 5 day lodgings, daily canteens, a color (8 1/2 x 11) group photograph, camp T-shirts, and camp medical insurance.
Note to Parents/GuardiansThe Christian Camp for the Deaf, Inc. is a non-profit organization operated by members of the churches of Christ. It is staffed with deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing men and women who are experienced and competent in working with the deaf and hard of hearing. All staff members work without pay. Camp Ney-A-Ti offers each camper a healthy and spiritual atmosphere. Towering pine trees and quiet surroundings set the mood for Bible study and discussions. Camp Ney-A-Ti is a camp that desires to be different. The principles of Jesus Christ are the controlling factors in camp life. Everyday activities always include time for spiritual growth. We expect every camper to conduct him/herself honorably at all times. |
